Chairman's Message

The Greener Good

It is indeed a great privilege to be elected the Chairman of this prestigious association. I have been associated with the field of horticulture ever since i can remember but i have become more formally involved in this field for the past 27 years during which i have had the  honour to represent Pakistan in numerous countries by way of constructing Pakistan Gardens in various international horticulture expositions. The world today is truly a global village and GHAP was born out of the necessity that we all must do our part, individually and as a collective for promotion of horticulture in Pakistan and around the world.  The members of GHAP consist of a diverse group of individuals, organizations and businesses with the common interest of horticulture acting as a glue to bind them together. Each striving in their own way to promote and preserve greenery and to learn and disseminate information  to others far and wide with no barriers holding us back be in that of geography, borders, language or culture. Indeed, we all come together under the umbrella of GHAP for working towards the preservation and promotion of horticulture with the resolve to make our future and the future of the next generations become greener. I am grateful for the opportunity and the privilege to be part of this selfless association and undertake to do all i can for its success.

Sincerely

Abdul Wahid
